T Squared Math Training is led by me, Trent Tormoehlen, commonly known as Mr. T by students and parents.  My earliest memory of math competitions is from when I was a 5th grader at the 1991 Indiana State MATHCOUNTS Competition.  My brother was in the countdown round and  I remember sitting next to my dad and solving some of the problems faster than the older kids!  Three years later, I qualified for the Indiana National MATHCOUNTS team, eventually finishing 22nd individually and leading the team to a 5th place finish, the best Indiana had done at that time.  Most importantly I met the legendary Bob Fischer, who was coaching the Indiana team for the 10th straight year.  I was able to reconnect with Bob 14 years later when I was hired by Sycamore School in Indianapolis.  A nationally known math educator and MATHCOUNTS coach, Bob enthusiastically worked closely with me as I began working with mathletes at Sycamore School and eventually top students across the state. He also introduced me to Josh Frost, 5 time National MATHCOUNTS champion coach from Massachusetts. Through Josh's and Bob's friendship and mentorship, I have had the privilege of working with 100's of incredible students from across Indiana and the country through the national MATHCOUNTS team and other camps, classes, and competitions.  I look forward to continuing to work with the top math competition students in Indiana through T Squared Math Training
